Nerdy college boy gets romantic advice from the apparition of a dead film star.

The film tells the tragicomic story of Burhan, who lives with his elderly sister Nebahat and spends his time losing money gambling. It takes place in an atmosphere where fake identities abound and swindlers who have been swindled themselves attempt to walk a tightrope. In this environment, which resembles a masked ball, the film's protagonists are trying to "outwit the devil."

Emrah and Salih are two young university students living in Istanbul. Everything seems normal in their daily lives, but Salih suddenly becomes fascinated with the "science of magic," also known as "havas." Salih's fascination with magic gradually turns into an obsession. He takes things to the next level and wants to control the spirits in the spirit world. Taner and Yeşim are a couple who have been married for twelve years. In the middle of the night, a luxury jeep cruising the streets hits a poor villager on a moped. As the people in the jeep get out to see who they hit, the camera focuses on Reşo's life in the village. From that moment on, we begin to follow the life of Reşo, who lives in a rural area in the east. Following Reşo's story, the story of Yusuf, the editor-in-chief of a newspaper, and the shady dealings taking place at the newspaper are brought into focus. The story continues as the characters move toward the point where their paths collide.
